Martin - Head Technician

Martin joined the hospital in June 2005.  His primary responisibilities include assistng the doctors, overseeing all surgery cases, and ensuring that surgery and exam rooms function in an efficient manner.  Martin and his wife, Kathryn, have four children; Natasha, Kayla, Matrin, and Karla.  The children are avid sprts players and and you will find Martin spending much of his free time involved with their teams.  Martin Jr. plays soccer, Kayla plays softball, Natasha play volleyball and competes in track & field.  Their cat Ricky Martin allows the whole family to share his home.

 

RJ joined Greenbelt as a Veterinary Technician in June, 2007, after moving here from Amarillo, Texas, with her husband, Tyson.  After previously working for a veterinary medical center in Amarillo, RJ wanted to continue her training and work experience in the veterinary field.  She now assists the doctors in surgery and in the exam rooms.  Her positive, good-nature brings an added calmness to busy GVH, and her special way with pets is such a gift for our patients!  RJ and Tyson have a Scottish Terrier, Samantha, and enjoy music and going to concerts.

Having previously worked in our Pet Resort, Michaela returned to Greenbelt Veterinary Hospital in January, 2008, as a Veterinary Technician.  While assisting the doctors in exam rooms, her outgoing personality helps put clients and patients quickly at ease!  Michaela owns four pets: Wrangler, a Border Collie mix; Ollie, a Yorkshire terrier; and two adorable Dachshunds, Rylie and Roscoe. Additionally, she cares for several farm animals including barn cats, pigs, goats and lambs.  Michaela enjoys singing, dancing, puzzles and bike riding.

 

Alyssa joined our staff in August, 2009. Past experience includes serving as a tech for a veterinary clinic in Odessa, where she received her certified veterinary assistant license, and for the Animal Ophthalmology Clinic in Dallas. After hearing much positive feedback on GVH, and especially because of her love for animals, she applied for a position here. Assisting doctors in exam rooms, her skills are exemplary and her sweet nature with pets invaluable.  She enjoys being with family and friends, shopping, and reading with her special family member, Lala, a loving 3-year old schnoodle, by her side.

Alyson is a do-it-all person at Greenbelt.  She has experience working in the Resort, as a Receptionist and now as a Technican.  Alyson is a hard worker and a great asset to Greenbelt.  She is also the best person to ask if you would like and hand-drawn portrait of your favorite friend.
