DOCTORS

Dr. Tom Green

Dr. Green has been providing veterinary services to Midland for over 35 years.  After spending thirty of those years at his clinic on Big Spring Street, Dr. Green fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening a state-of-the-art veterinary complex, Greenbelt Veterinary Hospital.  Dr. Green continues this dream as he and Dr. McConaughey have opened their premier pet resort adjacent to the hospital.  His special interests include pet dentistry, orthopedics, and internal medicine.  He is an avid golfer, who enjoys afternoons on the course with family and friends.  Dr Green and Julie's family includes: son Casey, his wife Susan, and their twin boys Preston and Parker, and another son Corey and his wife Nicole.  In their free time, they enjoy fishing trips with friends at Lake Amistad and traveling.

Dr. Kristina McConaughey

After graduating from Texas A&M in 2000, Dr. McConaughey returned home to Midland and began her veterinary career.  In October, 2002, she was thrilled to team up with Dr. Green and share in the high-tech Greenbelt Veterinary Hospital facility.  With special interest in internal medicine as well as cancer diagnosis and therapy, she has also developed an impassioned interest in geriatric pet care.  Dr. McConaughey and her husband, Madison, have three daughters, Rivers, Isabella, and Anna.  They enjoy being outdoors, hunting, fishing and relaxing with a good movie.  Their family also includes two dogs (Katy and Gunnie), five cats (Casey, Dodge, Sammy, Miss Kitty and Thomas), and three horses (Rio, Buddy and Smokie).

Dr. Lindsay Bailey

Dr. Lindsay Bailey grew up in Big Spring, and after graduating from Texas A&M University in 2008 she practiced in Mineral Wells, TX for a few years. Before long the desire for she and her husband, Heath, to return home caused her to begin looking at hospitals in the area. It did not take long for Dr. Bailey to find a home here at Greenbelt. Her desire to expand her surgical skills, under some of our senior staff, and what she would describe as a "great" job opportunity brought her to Midland and Greenbelt in February of 2011. As our newest associat veterinarian, Dr Bailey is interested in surgery and rehabilitation; but while away from the hospital she enjoys water-skiing, travel, church activities, and spending time with her family and friends.
